Business translation: your questions
How do you price business translation?
Business documents are priced per page or per word, depending on volume. Standard French to English and English to French documents start at 12,000 XOF per page, other languages at 15,000 XOF per page, and large files get a volume price. You receive a written quote with the delivery date within 15 minutes of sending your files.
Can you handle large or urgent volumes?
Yes. Large files are shared between several translators who work from the same validated glossary and translation memory, and a second translator reviews every file before delivery. For urgent work, we confirm the deadline we can meet before you pay.
Do you keep the original layout?
Yes. Word, Excel and PowerPoint files come back in their original layout. Scanned PDFs are rebuilt in Word so you can edit them, with stamps and signatures noted in the translation.
Can the translation be certified for official use?
Yes. When a document will be filed with an administration, a court or an embassy, a sworn translator signs and stamps it. See our certified and sworn translation page.
